Our Cooperation

“RAMPF/EICHNER Avvocati and Rechtsanwälte in Kooperation” is not a partnership, but a cross-border, consolidated and on-going cooperation between Avv. RA Marco Rampf with office in Rome and Avv. Dr. Susanna Eichner with office in Munich. Furthermore, both attorneys share a prestigious branch office in Brescia, a beautiful city strategically located between the eastern suburbs of Milan and the western shores of the Garda Lake.

Both lawyers are fully admitted and registered with the BAR of Rome as well as with the BAR of Munich. The scope of the cooperation is the close and stable co-working in order to grant an expert and professional support to clients with specific needs of cross-border legal advice.

For those areas of practice outside our core advisory activity, we may rely on the expertise of our “Of Counsel” colleagues, who provide us with professional support in specific legal questions and branches of the law such as, for instance, administrative law, tax and fiscal advisory, litigation as well as the representation before the higher Italian Courts of Justice.

Our cooperation model of independent lawyers with their own law firm allows us to focus on specific legal areas for which the individual law firms stand with their expertise and which each of the affiliated law firms can fall back on as required. The resulting lean law firm structures made up of independently acting professionals is of particular benefit to our client, to whom we can offer selective specialist knowledge at fair and balanced conditions.

Cooperating Professionals

It is an immutable law in business that words are words, explanations are explanations, promises are promises – But only performance is reality.

The business of the law is to make sense of the confusion of what we call human life –

To reduce it to order but at the same time to give it possibility, scope, even dignity.

Italy and Germany have long-standing and extremely profitable bilateral trade relations. Germany is, as a matter of fact, one of Italy’s most important trading partners worldwide.

Despite the economic crisis and the COVID19 pandemia, the number of Italian companies based in Germany held steady with over 1,700 units, while the number of German companies also based in Italy exceeded 2,000. Even within the EU, Germany remains the most important sales market for Italy. The volume of Italian foreign trade with Germany amounted to 66.9 billion euros in 2021, with an increase of 21.1% compared to the previous year. Germany, on the other hand, exported goods and services worth 75.5 billion euros to Italy in the same year.

For exports, the “Made in Italy” quality mark is synonymous with high quality goods and services in the sectors of fashion, design, mechanics, chemistry, automotive, tertiary, agri-food, pharmaceuticals , textiles and manufacturing. The backbone of the Italian economy are SMEs, which with their flexibility, creativity and dynamism, occupy a strong position in the commercial exchange between Italy and Germany.

The current scenario of geopolitical conflict with its growing global supply chain problems is making many companies rethink about aiming again at the traditional European domestic market. For Italy, this development represents a great opportunity to relaunch its economy. Germany as a traditional, reliable and economically strong partner offers Italian companies the best opportunity to expand their commercial activities.
