Edoardo Di Maggio is an Avvocato enrolled with the BAR of Rome. He has gained a significant experience in the fields of privacy and intellectual property law and has a career that spans from company roles to international law firms.
After his JD at the L.U.I.S.S. Guido Carli University of Rome, he earned an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law at the Queen Mary University of London, where he deepened negotiation, investment and tax aspects of intellectual property rights, also specializing in pharmaceutical patents. Right after the LL.M., he spent a year at the Singapore Management University (SMU) where he acquired general knowledge of the common law.
Furthermore, he is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (iapp) and recently earned an M.B.A. at L.U.I.S.S. Business School, an AACSB accredited institution.
In addition to his academic and professional experience, he is author of various articles and the chapter, titled “Human Bond Communication: A New and Unexplored Frontier for Intellectual Property and Information and Communication Technology Law” together with Avv. D. Siciliano, in “Human Bond Communication: The Holy Grail of Holistic Communication and Immersive Experience”, Wiley & Sons, Inc.
